1970 Kawasaki H1 Mach III Raffle Bike Rules
GRAND PRIZE. The grand prize is a 1970 Kawasaki H1 Mach III motorcycle. The total value of the grand prize is estimated at $18,000. The motorcycle will be displayed at various motorcycle events and will, as a result, be subject to some minor wear and tear. Taxes, duties, licensing and registration fees are the sole responsibility of the winner.
HOW TO ENTER. The custom 1970 Kawasaki H1 Mach III motorcycle raffle begins January 15, 2024. Official raffle ticket entry stubs accompanied with a donation will be entered automatically at the cumulative rate of one (1) entry for each $10.00 increment of donation and five (5) entries for each $40.00 increment of donation to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame (“HoF”) (e.g. a $40 donation provides five (5) official raffle ticket stub entries). Complete and return official raffle ticket stubs along with your donation in-person at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame or any show or event where the raffle is promoted, via mail carrier, via phone, or through the HoF website. ONLY official raffle ticket stubs will be accepted for entry (no duplicates or photocopies). Donations may be made by cash; check made payable to AMHF; Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover during regular business hours by telephone at 1-800-342-5464; or via the HoF website at https://americanmotorcyclist.com/hall-of-fame/support-the-hall-of-fame/featured-raffle-bike/. Official raffle tickets may be available in conjunction with other various promotions sponsored by the HoF.
NO PURCHASE REQUIRED. Official raffle ticket entry stub may be requested and entered
without an accompanying donation by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to: AMA
Motorcycle Hall of Fame — 1970 Kawasaki H1 Mach III Raffle Ticket Request, 13515 Yarmouth Drive, Pickerington, Ohio, 43147; limit one (1) mail order raffle ticket per person. Return properly completed official raffle ticket entry stub (one stub per envelope) to: AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, Attn: 1970 Kawasaki H1 Mach III Raffle Bike Sweepstakes, 13515 Yarmouth Drive, Pickerington, OH 43147.
ENTRY DEADLINES: All official raffle ticket entry stubs returned by mail must be postmarked no
later than three (3) weeks prior to the drawing. All website, telephone and in-person
transactions at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame resulting in entry eligibility must be completed
no later than one (1) week prior to the drawing. All other in-person transactions resulting in
entry eligibility must be completed no later than one (1) hour immediately preceding the actual
drawing time. Neither the HoF, nor any of its employees or affiliates assumes any liability for lost
or misdirected entries or entries that are not received by the deadline. By returning the official
raffle ticket entry stub, properly completed, you will be deemed to have agreed to abide by
these rules.
WINNER SELECTION AND VERIFICATION. One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a
random drawing to be conducted at 2025 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days. All prizes will be awarded. Winner will be notified by telephone. Winner will be required to sign a statement of eligibility and release. If the winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made, or he or she is found to be ineligible, or he or she does not comply with these rules, such winner will be disqualified and, if applicable, an alternate winner may be selected. By entering this drawing, the winner shall be deemed to have given the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation (AMHF), or
anyone it chooses, the unlimited right and license to use the winner’s name, likeness and
photograph for publicity purposes in all media, worldwide, and without further compensation.
No substitution of prizes or cash equivalents is permitted at the election of the winner. The
AMHF shall have the right to make prize substitutions at its discretion.
ELIGIBILITY. The sweepstakes is open to individuals who are residents of the United States and
18 years of age or older. Employees of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, American
Motorcyclist Association, their respective Boards of Directors, and members of each of their
immediate families are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
ODDS. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.
ACCEPTANCE OF PRIZES. Grand Prize winner agrees to remove the motorcycle from the AMA
Motorcycle Hall of Fame no later than Oct. 1, 2025. All federal, state and local taxes, laws and
regulations apply, and winner shall bear sole responsibility for paying any applicable taxes,
tariffs, fees and miscellaneous costs related to the prize which he/she owes at time of receipt of
Grand Prize. Winner shall be provided with a Form 1099 IRS tax document for the retail value of
the Grand Prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS/RELEASE. The winner, by acceptance of the Grand Prize, agrees to
release the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation (AMHF), American Motorcyclist
Association (AMA), and their officers, directors, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers,
distributors, and employees from any responsibility or liability in connection with any loss,
accident, or death incurred in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of any prize. The
AMHF and AMA do not make, nor are responsible for, a warranty or a guarantee with regards to
any prize, including but not limited to a warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose.
