Volunteers are often the first point of AMA contact for many members. If you’ve ever attended an AMA sanctioned recreational ride or race, you’ve no doubt noticed how many people it takes to make these events happen — to help with parking, registration, flagging, course marking, awards, clean-up, and so much more.
Every event requires a small army of volunteers, and without their tireless effort and dedication, these events wouldn’t be possible. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the motorcycling community and also a great way to connect with other riders and have a ton of fun in the process!
Riding events aren’t the only opportunity for you to volunteer in support of the AMA. The AMA has additional volunteer opportunities of all types available, for people of all ages with all manner of individual interests and skills, including:
Administration
Advocacy
Communications
Event
Operations
Fundraising
Government Relations
Membership
Photography
and more, so much more!
Volunteers can be involved with AMA-chartered organizations and participate in AMA-sanctioned events regardless of where they live. To get started as an AMA volunteer and learn about additional opportunities to serve the membership, click the button below.
